The Paterson Foundation is a private, charitable Foundation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario. Its Board of Directors meets twice a year to make decisions on applications received and to deal with other Foundation business.
Generally, grants are made to charitable organizations in Northwestern Ontario with the major emphasis on projects and programs in the areas of education, health care, religion, social welfare and the arts. Public Foundations will not be considered for grants.
Grants will not be made to individuals. Organizations which do not possess a charitable registration number from Revenue Canada are not eligible for funding from the Foundation. It is rare that the Foundation will consider a grant for deficit financing. Read More
