The Paterson Family Foundation Inc.
The Paterson Family Foundation was started in 2018 to follow in the footsteps of dedicated philanthropist Senator Norman McLeod Paterson. Since then, the Foundation has been a devoted supporter of community organizations in the Prairie Regions of Canada.
The Paterson Family Foundation is a private, charitable Foundation incorporated under the laws of the Province of Manitoba. It is composed of a Board of Directors that meets twice a year to make decisions on applications received and to deal with other Foundation business.
Imagine Canada
Imagine Canada is a national registered charity with offices in Toronto, Calgary and Ottawa. Our cause is Canada’s charities and nonprofits. It is our mission to support and strengthen charities and nonprofits so they can, in turn, support the Canadians and communities they serve.
We work on a variety of issues and challenges that face the sector, often in partnership, including funding, human resources, volunteerism, governance, sector accountability and better understanding of the sector through research. It is our role to be a strong voice to issues and challenges and bring them to the forefront of Canada’s key decision makers and influencers. Imagine Canada is also a forum and meeting place where the sector can come together to mobilize, share knowledge and best practices as well as plant the seeds of innovation. And, we work to create a supporting environment to help charities and nonprofits with tools and resources to enable them to achieve their missions for stronger communities.

Philanthropic Foundations Canada is a national membership organization for Canada’s independent, grantmaking foundations. PFC is a registered charity.
PFC’s mission is to promote the growth and development of effective and responsible foundations and to foster a social and regulatory environment that encourages philanthropic contribution.
Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation
The TBRHS Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for the advancement of healthcare for Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario, by developing a strong relationship with all citizens and the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
We fundraise for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre’s equipment needs mainly but also support the Health Sciences Centre’s projects, programs, education and research as needed.
